Hello,
my A class is fitted with 195/55/R15 tyres there i a problem with ground clearance in that the undertray keeps catching on the road surface.
Is it possible to fit an alternative tyre size such as 195/65/R15

I have basically same car, my tyres are 195/55/16 as standard, I think issues is more to do with front springs

I looked at tyres, the 39mm increase put me off.

There are as many post as people having issues with ground clearance as not having issues on A CLASS.

I looked at loads post, issue I found was no one with issue ever worked out spring needed and gor a new set from MB to test

Was always a ? Do you have correct springs, have they been replaced, one or both after market or mb, unless you had car from new impossible to say for sure, they could be just worn out

Only way to know for sure is work out spring your car needs get from MB, if still issue fit 20mm or 30mm spacers to strut

Springs for same car vary from 388mm to 410mm

Your first step is pull wheels and see what markings you have on springs as a start point
