I currently have two contisport contact and two P Zeros on my 2003 E55k. The rears are getting a bit thin and I wondered if anyone has experience of the Dunlop Sport Maxx or the Toyo Proxes T1R ? Or if any other recommendations exist based on road noise/wet grip.

I've used T1-R in the past and was very pleased. I also think the new T1-S has one of the lowest weights around - which is good for the all important unsprung weight.
I'm very pleased with Falken FK452 - great value for money.

Yep, Falken FK452 on the back of my C36 too. Got mine from Event Tyres who were as cheap as Camskill + fitting but came to my house and did the work.

I've got 452s on the back of my E55 - no problems at all and once you've bedded them in they grip very well

A friend has had Dunlop Sport Maxx several times on his Saab 95. He drives enthusiastically and rates them for good overall performance.

Thats all very interesting thanks. Think I'll have a look at the Falcons.
