Hi,

My question is 2 fold really.

1. I have 18" alloys and tyre size is: Fronts- 225/ 40/ 18 Rear- 255/ 35/ 18.
I was considering going a little bigger with the tyres Fronts- 235/ 35/ 18 Rear-265/ 30/ 18. Would these size tyres fit without having to use spacers etc.

2. Could any one recomend tyre makes? I have read some very good reviews on KUMO's and there are some good deals to have on them.

Thanks in advance.

Falken 452's are very good. From someone who normally goes for a Bridgestone or leading brand, these are just as good, and sticky. Many people on here recomed them. Buy from camskill, do a search on the forum for their details.

Agree....Falkens a cost effective alternative to the major names. I have them on the rear of my C270 and will fit them to the fornt and to my CLk500

I am trying them out on my W221 with 20" AMG's 275/35 and there fine .

235 on front and 255 on back is the biggest you should be ever going.... any bigger than that is compeltely pointless.

Falken 452's on mine too !!

Thanks everyone! I have decided to take your advice and go with the Falken 452's and stick with the size i have. I've managed to get a good deal on them too, £335 for the 4 from camskill will be getting them Wed/Thurs.

Now that you have had them for a while, how are they performing?

^^ I won't be getting till Wed/ Thurs. I'll let everyone know once i get them on.

Just an update on tyres. I was going to put Falken 452's on however, fate had something else instore for me! My tyre shop had no Falkens in stock and with me being desperate for new tyres I decided to get the KUMHO's fitted. I am very surprised by how good they are, previously I had Yokohamas fitted. They give very good grip/traction and are a lot quieter than the Yoko's and at under 355 fitted i am very happy with the costs as well.
