I was just looking through my papers the other day and i realised that my car (even on the DVLA records) is registered as a C230K classic, when in actual fact, when i check the VIN number its a C230K sport.

Is this something i should notify my insurers of? or does it not matter?

I'd get the detail ironed out with all parties - it could become a deal breaker at resell if it looks like an iffy car?

If the insurers pick up the model from the registration number then it may get *very* complicated if you try to tell them something else.

har har..! @ television

I think Gucci has said all that is needed.

I very much doubt your insurance will increase anyway due to the age of the car now with the trim level difference (Classic or Sport) so just tell your insurer and get the DVLA to sort it as well - DVLA will ask for you to write to them.

What is the car, though - does it have sport or classtic trim?

I would definitely get DVLA to correct the logbook and tell your insurance. If you have an accident it would be awful if someone made your insurance null and void due to errors and omissions.
