UHI to USB?

The last bloke who had my car, glued a parrot to the wood on the dash (ruined) so I am sort of stuck with it. Problem is the CK3100 he has installed does not have a charging cable for my phone.

Now, I'm not OCD or anything (Winner VVOC Cleanest Car in Show 2012) but, I would rather not have a charger hanging out of the ashtray. So this got me thinking, I have the UHI connector in the arm rest, why can't I just get a charge cable to go in there.

Before you all answer with Viseeo MB3/4 etc. please consider that I will be stuck with the parrot for now anyway, as I don't really want to mess around removing it.

What I'm looking for is a simple cable/ plug to take 12v power from the UHI to a USB-iPhone 6 charger. If I have to, I can make a cable but, I can imagine it would be that hard to find something to do the job.

Any thoughts?

I don't think you will find a suitable UHI plug (other than using one from a defunct Viseeo) but you could tap into the cable before the plug and instal a USB for power only.

You could buy a broken Viseeo MB-4 from eBay - it has a micro USB port for charging things on the bottom. Or you could buy a working MB4 and ignore the Parrot, and enjoy being able to use the steering wheel controls, phone-book in the Audio system and keypad and ignore the 3100 completely !!

(ps, as Giantmanvan says, there is no cable, and my pre-edited post was mainly to point out the MB4 has the USB port for charging. An alternative is that iSimple make a retrofit USB socket that you wire in and put where you like. http://www.isimplesolutions.com/hubvolt-dm.html )

Cheers
