According to this article.

I particularly liked the quote from Martin Jones, the Head of Strategic Roads Division at the Department for Transport who said
DfT Fantasyland Representative said:
"The Department has been monitoring the condition of the local authority road network. Over past years there has been a declining level of condition of the road network but that appears now to have been reversed.”
I can only assume that Mr Jones should either a) Get out more, or b) Learn that some lies really are totally implausible

Wiltshire is turning into a 3rd world county in road terms, the council is broke and can't fix it. Anyone driving cars with expensive alloys best be extra careful.

He's haviing a laugh or maybe he's just driving round one of the huge potholes thinking its a valley by the side of his car
