I will be bringing back this E250 CGI W212 2013 to Malaysia for good. Is there any "tropicalisation" that need to be done to the engine? Some years back I had seen mercs that were brought in from UK being tropicalised. The obvious thing that was done was a radiator change. They might also changed the cooling fan, thermostat and others. I assume that there was such thing as a tropical radiator where the rate of heat removal was higher.
That was years back. The modern engines now might not require such process. But I have read that there is such a thing as a stronger cooling fan that is more suited for tropical climates.
