Yes folks they've done it with insurance, electricity and gassuppliers, bank account rates and electrical goods. Now here is the first [I think??] online tyre comparison site. NOT ALL SUPPLIERS ARE INCLUDED OF COURSE but a good cross section are there.

I just tried it for my tyres and frankly the site is pretty useless. I supect only a very few manufacturers are included in spite of the list ( cant find my Pirellis for example) and limited outlets ( eg no Kwikfit)

Should perhaps point out I'm not recommending the site- just drawing attention to its existence. Tried it on a couple of tyres I bought recently- prices found were no bargain- but not over priced either. Be interesting to hear from other forum members experiences to build up a picture for the future.
