Ultimate w203 d2b ipod integration solution

Hello everybody, what is the best pre-facelift d2b w203 (2000-2004) ipod integration solution available? I mean for a solution that you can control the ipod from the steering wheel buttons and also charge from the car. Currently I only utilise the AUX IN of my command which is not an integrated solution.

I have come across a few solutions but most of them suggest that you disconnect you cd changer and I do not want to do this. I have been told that there is an ipod integration kit that you can still use your existing cd- changer. Does anyone know anything about it? thank you!

however the photos in the webpage do not justify the cd-changer retention claims as I do not see any connectivity for keeping functional the existing cd-changer... Any opinions? Has anyone used this one?

Correct - you can't use both completely seamlessly. As HughJ says: you flick a switch to select one or the other.
With my 02 w209 (COMAND) it can be controlled from the steering wheel or stereo, but you don't get track/album display (just track #1-99). Some (limited) playlist capability. The best way to truly learn if its what you need is to grab their user manual - it is downloadable from somewhere (prob on the dension site) - and then read about what actually is and isn't possible with this unit. e.g. There are two control modes - one gives you most of the control from the wheel, the other allows you to control from the ipod. Again, you have to choose one mode or the other, can't do both.

Just use the version of the iPOD that was designed the same time as the COMAND 2.0 .... something around 1995. Then it will work perfectly.
