I have a 2.6 straight 6 cyl engine going for sale. It has about 170 k on the clock. Its is smooth, no oil leaks, good oil pressure and I doubt if it has ever been driven at over 80 mph. Now here is the deal. for the price of a grand I will install it in either a W124 or a W201, complete with ECU and everything needed for it to run. This is a deal for Forum Members only. To give you an idea of what it could cost if you looked for the parts.

Complete Engine at about £450 (inc starter, injection system, all pumps, exhaust, altenator, everything)
ECU new £1600 plus V.A.T. or £200 ish from a breakers
Labour about £700

Any takers before I eBay everything?

This 2.6 would amaze you, nice fit in a 124, cheaper on petrol and cheaper servicing too, not to mention the insurance
