After changing tyres on my c350 estate
Running p zeros
Was looking at the 255 35 18 and 225/40/18 Uniroyal Rainsport 3
As the rating is a lot better

I had these on my cooper s and Danielle is on her second set on the fiestas

I like them - however < side wall is a bit ugly looking (if it bothers you)

Had two sets on my 55k, they grip well but wear like crazy.

I'm running 245/40/18 front and 265/35/18 Rears Avon Zz5 on 14,000 miles now and around 3mm left on rears and 5mm on fronts very good grip and not too expensive

Goodyear Eagles if you want top notch.

Avon SV7 (their brand new design) if you want good mid range.

Which Eagles through, as for many their sporty Dunlop RT's provide more grip together with some other other brands.

Cooper/Avon don't make a SV7, I presume your referring to their ZV7?

Just got a set of the Rainsports for my ML, less than £100 each too from Camskill's.

Other branded tyres are at least £150 in my size, so worth a punt I thought and they get good reviews, apart from wear.

But at that price...

Oh and they've got this weird asymmetrical design, I thought they'd sent me four left handed ones at first until I realised! :D

Got these on the front of my CLK, I'm not keen on them, grip is fine but they tend to pick every little bit of gravel up of the road so I'm constantly hearing bits flicking up at the bottom of the car which is a little annoying when your windows are rolled down.

Mine are quite worn after 5,000 miles of daily (sometimes spirited) around town driving.

I will try a different brand next time.

.

I've put Conti 5s MO back on my C220 Coupe (original spec tyres). These are quieter than expected. I've only done 800 miles on them so can't comment on wear. However they were supplied and fitted by Mercedes and were competitively priced.
