Strange....i've never been there !!!!

Do you remember waking up anywhere unusual on your stag night and having a very long train ride home?

I've been there, in fact I have a Ski apartment there!

I seem to remember lending the money to you one evening  - any chance of having it back!!;) ;)

Unfortunately not, they are not worth £700. AFAIK those are notes before devaluation. Don't think that they are valid anymore.

if they have a value it is 71pence ....so dont see anyone racing to change them.....they were converted at the rate of 1000 old L to 1 new L - these are old L...But made an interesting post

I was given some notes like these a few years ago, they were part of a sales gimic by some forgotten company. I guess you may have received them in a similar fashion.

Pity... cause I've got 5 of them.... Thanks for IDing them for me.

Bulgarska Narodna Banka

That is what is written along the side. National Bank of Bulgaria
Anyone else read Cyrillic here ? :)
I did one year of Russian at school, before switching back to Latin. Comes in useful occasionally for reading signs etc.
