Hi,
After a visit to a Steeler following the errors below, I have been told this could be a very problematic fault and quite costly to investigate.

Has anyone ever seen this before? as I'm told Mercedes have never seen this before.

What did you have done at Dealership?

The first pre-requisite on that list is to check the battery. A dying battery can cause loads of issues - have they had ignition on for ages without the engine being on?

Hi KillerHERTZ

The battery is fine followed the initial advice before going to the dealer.

The dealer changed a pair of map sensors, back in Feb, today I took the car to a local specialist who check the error on the star system and came up with this =, I have placed photos of star report

Is second picture error depicting ESP currently unavailable? If so maybe try turning steering wheel to full lock several times to see if it clears it - do this with engine on, and on level ground.

Thanks,
I’ll give that a go, I’m wondering if the problem could be a loose fuse box connection. Although I have no idea how to check that

Look at the fusebox in the boot of the car (under the floor) and make sure all the fuse-blocks are properly pushed into the carrier plate

Hi Richard,

Thanks for the info having had the car into a specialist, today they found one of the wires in the bonded loom had snapped. Unfortunately, you can't open a bonded plug directly from the harness, so it had to be bypassed. Rather annoyed that MB would not have, QCd this properly and the fault is known by the factory.

Conclusion / Fix.
Having complicated several continuity tests across the vehicle systems, it was discovered a wire in the bonded part of the loom had been rubbing against the bulkhead. The wire is also extremely tight and because it’s factory bonded it’s not possible to repair. So a separate wire has been installed all working normally 🤲🏻
