Car
Peugeot 403 Convertible
A few minutes ago a Woman and young girl pulled up outside my neighbours in a Landrover Defender 130 High Capacity.

I thought that was a pretty unusual car for a woman to drive. Pretty unusual anyway.

Do your know of unusual cars being driven?

There is a Lady in this area that drives a dark blue Escort Cosworth! I remember seeing her in it when I was a kid, and she still has it! Driven daily, its nice and totally original!

I also know of a midwife that has owned a black Capri 2.8i from new!

I think HM The Queen used to or still drives one of these (not the LWB) on her Scottish estates

She has a regular Defender 110 station wagon, a 130 High capacity is a special build vehicle.
Most unusual as an everyday car.

Its quite a sight though apparently. I have never had the pleasure but a friends family regularly meet up with members of the royal family and have been told of how HRH regularly drives the 110 County and is also to be seen dragging chairs and baskets from the back of it!

HM has a Rangie too , she likes to use it when she's shooting.

My brother's mate is about 75 and also has a Nissan GT-R with BEAST number plate
This Nurse saved up to by a new Dodge Viper ( still not quite sure how she managed it) and appeared in The Sun

Another The Sun story was the 80yr old couple who bought a brand new G reg Sapphire Cosworth
My mate bought a new Sapphire Cosworth and was it was driven by his mullah dad with big beard
Recall another Mullah who had a pink Suzuki XC90

Somebody regularly parks their citroen dyane van in my work's car park. That's pretty rare.

Mrs TDE1 had a ridiculous, top heavy, bright yellow Suzuki 4x4. Nothing too unusual.

Oh, other than the 'modification'... A yellow ping pong ball on the ariel, so she could tell which car was hers in a car park

There is a guy in Bedford town centre that alternates between an Alfa Julia and and a Citroen H van! He also has a Pagoda but not seen that recently!

Saw a 6 wheeled Citroen cx in a tescos car park last summer, that was odd....

I've only ever seen pictures on the interweb of these 6 wheeler CX. Some converted to a flat bed.
Would be great for taking bikes to track days or maybe a light rally car!

Back in the 90s I took my missus to the local Skoda dealer to pick up her ex-demo Favorit estate - we ran this as the kids taxi/ footy team bus for a few years, did us proud long before Skoda became VAG.

I was then driving my 1963 Rover P4 and the owner of the Skoda garage had the entire team out to look at a "proper car."

Happy memories!

That would be a chap called Phil Collins who had one converted to Loadrunner spec.

I guess it wasn't towing the piper Comanche caravan to Tesco's.

If you think that one was long...

I'll throw my hat in the ring with this.

We spotted it yesterday on the M56 and my daughter managed to get a few pictures.

Any ideas?
