Didn't think "I" was used on reg numbers?

We have information on our database regarding DIA1, a Land Rover Discovery 3 Tdv6 Auto (Estate).

Personally, I'd have it on one line, so it resembles "Dial", then sell it to Nev Wiltshire for his ML63. (He owns a large call centre)
 
Oops, couldn't quite see the pix clearly - on my phone. Looked like DA 1 at a quick glance.
 
Looks like they nicked the towbar off a pikey pick-up.
 
I had an Irish plate on my G when I bought it. It had an I which was quite confusing as it was followed by a number. Gone now anyway.
 
Just to clarify - the plate is from NI...
 
It's from county Antrim...in the 60s. It was controversial at the time because Dia is the Irish word for God.
