Evening everyone. Before someone tells me to search the forum, I have done and was met with a blank screen.
While giving my car a wash today I noticed a dead ( I presume ) fly in the rear offside light cluster. As I had just washed the car, it obviously then started to rain lots.
So my question is.... Is it simple enough to remove the afore mentioned light cluster or is Mr. fly staying put because its a pain in the a***.

The car is a 12 plate E class coupe.

Thanks.. Dave.

Take a bulb out and use a vacuum with a straw taped to the end. I've used this method before to get errant insects out of odd areas

Depends how stuck the fly is.

I had to remove one of my rear tail lights in order to flick the bug loose with a long cable tie... A bugger to do :D

and then put a bird in to catch the spider..

I can see where this is going, but I will let you know that at the end of the story I haven't got a cow to catch the horse. I haven't even got a horse.

If the hoover or similar vacuum type devices don't work is it straight forward.

Ta.

I have a fly in my rear left cluster, and a spider in the rear right cluster!!!

They've both walked into places I can't get to with a straw through the bulb holes and then died...

I quite like them though, so they're staying.
