So one of my mates (who is not a car guy) has a 1 Series, doesn't remember if he has even cleaned it. Him & his other half are not car guys...

In exchange for beers, I said I'd have a go :)

Took nearly 3 hours. 2x washes, dry, then a go on my DA polisher with Megs wax.

Both of them were gobsmacked, didnt think it was the same car :D

I managed to find nearly a Kilo of leaves and cress? growing in the drainage areas at the top of the engine bay!
Cleaned everything, fuel cap area, door shuts, boot shuts, everything :D

Great job, black cars are great for showing off when they're clean, but holy orange peel moly!

You can tell its bottom of the model line, when I was going over it by hand afterwards, pressing down on the C Pillar dented inwards temporary - thin/cheap metal it would seem!

Great job Karl. There is a real sense of achievement when you are given something in a bad way and make it look a million dollars again

Looks superb and job well done.

I keep my car and of course the wife’s nice and clean but could not work up the enthusiasm for dealing with anyone else’s car.

    Great job
