Were self leveling suspension and LSD coupe options?
Doesn't look special enough to me.

Yes it my car....thought I would give the auction a go, having been to the last 3 held by BCA. Last one saw a 190SL and a couple of newer 107 SL's go through and a CE, which made a reasonable price, so I thought I would give it a go.

Re the self levelling suspension + LSD.....yes they were options and expensive ones at that, which is one of the reasons why you don't see many CE's fitted with them, especially on the pre face lift CE's.

In terms of looking special, in a word it does'nt.....no bling, no modifications, nothing......its as standard as the day it came out of the factory, which I suppose is what I like, but as they say what floats my boat, may be different to what floats somebody elses boat

Is it a mechanical LSD or electronic ASD?
I've always thought the one thing the W124 needed was a decent LSD.

Its the electronic ASD......typical of Merc to call it something else!
