If you keep your eye on the "Events" section you might see a regional get-together (GTG) you could attend (or national if you don't mind travelling). Most of our events are about eating, drinking and banter rather than autoparts sales though.

Occasionally someone will kick a car tyre to justify attendance. We used to watch paint thickness being measured too - ahh those halcyon days!
