A new online training and assessment requirement will go into effect November 30, 2007. New and renewing subscribers will be required to take any Microsoft E-Learning course and then pass its associated assessment with a minimum score of 70 percent. To continue receiving your Microsoft Action Pack Subscription, you will be required to pass an assessment every two years.

I took this assessment in August and scored 100% Very easy, anyone with half a brain will pass it.

What about people with full brains? :D

Yes I was informed of this earlier in the year when I renewed. Fair enough I suppose, the requirments are not particularly onerous. Fortunately my son has the other half brain AND an MS qualification so he can do it............

The main reason for the introduction is the large number of subscribers who are using the NFD software to "test" on their home networks (at least according to the last newsletter!) I'm looking forward to the "challenge" & if I don't make 70% I can fall back on my TechNet subscription and spend the money on something more exciting :)

Of course if you don't maintain your subscription your CD Keys are invalidated ;)

Lot of IT bods on here. Interesting...
