Hi, as promised,an update on the (NEW) navigation disc purchased on Ebay for E140. The disc is a genuine 2011/2012 update and is good for most of Europe. I include the instructions in case a member purchases a used disc with no instructions.The instructions are good for :
CL Class >09/03 to 09 06
CLS Class >04/08....
E Class >03/02 to 06/08

S Class >09/03 to 0/05
SL Class >07/04 to04/08
SLK Class 03/04 to >04/08....Turn on Command and press Nav. Remove old CD and insert new disc. Loading bars will show on screen,when bars disappear the basic NAV menu appears, stage one is complete.....In stage TWO Command will be reinitialised. To do this, turn off Command by removing key or using the on/of button. Lock the vehicle from outside and wait two/three minutes. Command is fully operation again....
If you purchase a copy or non genuine disc the above may not work. The above instructions are from the NAVTEQ A211 827 39 65 version 12.0 . If the instructions do not work it is not my fault.I posted them as they might be of use to other members.
