Good day people...
The C220 coupe, has now developed it's own speed restriction when negotiating any hills upwards..(It's an automatic)
Fine on flat, accellerates fine....gets to a hill and into limp with nowt over 2500 rpm!
I have replaced the MAF sensor, cleared all the air filter and housing, replaced the fuel filter (Just in case)... but it resolutely doesn't enjoy uphill progress..
Has anyone any clues or ideas (Apart from a code read) or has experienced such an issue ?

After it’s gone into limp mode on a hill does it recover or do you need to turn off/on?

Second thought. Can you verify transmission oil level?

No dipstick on gearbox, but changes through gears fine otherwise.

if it has a 722.6 gearbox it usually has a dipstick pipe which capped off , drivers side.
I'll check, but last time I looked at the dipstick hole for the gearbox there wasn't anything attached to the cap.
