Uprated road springs W124

If they are painted red they ain't genuine Mercedes---- could be Ventura or other after market make - they might be H and R or Eibach - but should say so on the springs if they were in which case they may be worth a punt----- the fact the poster doesn't mention this poses the question???
For someone with a car with broken springs could be a possibility at that sort of price I suppose?

These springs are GMax.

However they do seem to have lost a bit of their protective coating and are starting to corrode- the fronts worse than the rears. the rears seem undamaged coating wise.
Problem with second hand springs as Bolide pointed out the cost+hassle of installing /removing them normally far outweighs any cost saving on price.
