URGENT overhead projectors

My overhead projector has just blowen and I need to replce it (QUICK) the screen size is 5ftsq.

In the past I have gone to specialists but this hardly seems worth in now since the 1 lens projector are on the market and in the high street.

Anyone know anything about the 1 lens projectors and what I should be lookng for.

In my limited experience the bulb is the weak point of OHP's. Also see if there is a balace resistor on the feed to the bulb, these sometimes burn out and cause the bulb to blow.

You dont want to buy a new projector if you can help it a good one for the pub with 4000 lumens (bulb brightness) can cost you £4k. Off the shelf from pc world or comet usually 2000 lumens (but last longer) £499-£2k

I usaully spec high for pubs.. but this your budget
