HI,

Off to Florida next week, can anyone suggest a mobile phone sim card to purchase whilst out there - rather than paying roaming fees - all phones are tri-band so that won't be a problem, not expecting to use them much.

Also means we won't get expensive calls from the UK!

Thanks

Mike

Try getting a Verizon pre-paid SIM Their current system is called "Get It Now!"

Otherwise these people will sell you a card before you go. It's pricey to start with but topping it up costs about the same as in the UK.

I'm on Cingular at the moment, and the service seems very good. Costs for international calling seem quite good when compared to Vodafone in the UK.
Stores are everywhere, and the signal is good - in NYC anyway.

Thanks, masqueraid & scotth uk - I'll check them out

Mike
