Before folks of earlier models in the time range effected start to panic this would appear to only apply to MODELS fitted with electrically assisted power steering?

Aluminium bolts - why?
Not the obvious weight saving as there has to be three times as much aluminium as steel (unless they hollowed out the bolts - and even then, the priority here is strength not stiffness).
