That interior sucks !
I love the GT but it's out of my price bracket at the moment. It seems to be in a market on its own, the F-Type R is cheaper, the R8 is now V10 only and a bit more expensive. It's a pity they don't do a V6, the engine out the new C43 would be nice, at mid £60k it would be a real alternative to the F-Type V6S. Maybe as rumoured Audi make a V6 R8, MB will have a rethink, alternatively I'll just have to wait until the price drops a fair bit more.
If you want a V6 with less power, buy an SL400. It's not what the GT is about.
AMG GTs are becoming more numerous .. every dealer seems to have one in the showroom
give it time, they will get cheaper
Spot on.
Supplying Merc dealer recently offered £95k for a highly specced S with 1500 miles !!
Mclaren dealer offered us more than that.
my local MB/AMG dealership and he has told me every GT/GTs they have sold has had serious issues, predominantly gearbox. A number of brand new cars have required new gearboxes.
that's very worrying .. not read anything in the forums though

Have one of these on loan while the missus' ML63 is having some warranty issues resolved, goes back tomorrow. Lovely motor, if somewhat skittish on the front end when hitting cats-eyes at 120+ which is rather unnerving. I get on well with the service manager at my local MB/AMG dealership and he has told me every GT/GTs they have sold has had serious issues, predominantly gearbox. A number of brand new cars have required new gearboxes.
you selling already?
Been looking at McLaren 570 recently to replace it.
Steveml63 said:Hi, Out of interest, what are the warranty issues on the ML63? We have a few problems with ours - firstly 360 camera randomly stops working when you engage reverse (no detectable pattern - totally random). Second problem is terrible (bordering on dangerous!) throttle lag when you coast to a near stop at a junction or speed bump - then reapply throttle to accelerate away again. Much more noticeable in Sport mode. Cheers Steve
