Bit more Niche perhaps... :doh: but amazing how a little ditty helps memorise endless streams of otherwise boring information... here are 11 (out of about 150) buoys we have to memorise along with their positions, characteristics, course and distance and depths both inside and outside etc etc.

Some Girls Give Nice Snogs, Chubby Ladies Do It Poorly

Shotley Spit, Guard, Grisle, North Shelf, South Shelf, Cliff Foot, Languard, Dean, Inner Ridge & Platters.

(Buoys in the main deep water channel around the beach End Turn on the Red Side when Departing Felixstowe)
