Usefull W211 website

I found this on another forum, looks pretty cool!

Unfortunately its likely to be shutdown once mbusa figure out you can access it without a password.

Some really cool things on there including lots of video's on how to dismantle various parts of the car, inc taking the dash apart.

Cool!!! Your next task is to find the SLK version :p (I tried replacing W211 with R170 - didn't work :( )

Wow , this is amasing .. Im at disassembly just now .... Its painful as i had to work all this out my freaking self ...:crazy:

Good to know i was doing it right :)

I've saved over 100Mb of files (html, pdf's and video's) to disk now, just incase I can't access the site in future. Thank god for 1Mb broadband.

And I was going to have an early night!

You can tell its for americans when they start talking about those ribbon cables being " delicate" lol

As we have a few new W211 owners I thought I'd bump this post, its still wide open and is very usefull.

I have been using it to take the dash apart. I had no reason to do it other than to see if it was as easy as it looks.
It actually turned out easier than I thought.
An excellent site.
