Hi all,
Has anybody any idea how to get internet/internet radio to work?
I have a April 2017 C63s and every time I try to use(doesn't matter where) it comes up with unable to connect to data at this time.
I have an iPhone 7 fully connected to car as well just in case it uses that for internet but still no joy.
 
Have you enabled Internet Hotspot on your phone?

You'll need to enable internet hotspot, as mentioned, but then you'll have to connect the car to the phone, similar to how you would connect it to your internet connection at home.
 
I have an Iphone 7 and have had very limited success in connecting it to my GLA 220 for Internet use. It shows it connecting to the hotspot on my phone and then I get the "Data connection temporarily not available" message. I've been successful on a couple of random occasions but have no idea why this was!! I had no problems with my old Sony Xperia. One of the reasons I changed to an Apple device last year was that it seemed to me that MB were much further on with IOS than Android when we bought the car. Seems not :( If anyone has had repeated success with connecting an Iphone to the Mercedes Benz Apps feature or the Internet Radio feature I'd be interested in comparing your settings - not that there's much you can change on either side it seems.
 
Bobby is right. Also need Tune In app or something on mine.

I can connect to mobile internet hotspot on mine, but trying to get internet radio requires a Tune In account, so never listened to it yet.

A 2017 C63 must be like our 2017 W213. Comes with internet connectivity through the internal HERMES unit. The car does not use any bluetooth connected phone for internet access (a pity). You have to subscribe for internet browsing and internet radio, a paid service that Vodafone offers. Instructions should be available e.g. at the mercedes me portal.
