Bottom part of the door still touches the wall on the 2nd shot?

Nah, the trim touches the wall first :)

Yeah the garage was already plastered when I bought it. It's nice but a curse at the same time. Who paints a garage white!?!

Me, actually! I'm slowly (as I get stuff out of the way) painting my rough-brick-and-not-skirted walls, and the ceiling, bright white - to increase the amount of light reflection, to help me see what I'm doing as I work on the cars :D

Me too...though most is breeze block so it was hard going the first time. But...I have the carpet on the floor!

Nothing wrong with a painted garage. :) No carpet here though, either walls or floor.

Just had my garage extended and my car now sits in it for the first time all snug as a bug.

I will be doing the carpet thing though.

Since the extension there is red brick dust everywhere since the wall was cut through.

Mine is nowhere near as clean as those in the photos though.

Great Idea, always think a car is incomplete without shag pile carpet on the floor and if you have enough on the underside of the boot lid, trust you to be at the cutting edge of new trends.
