- Väth 4.7 M113 engine being fitted to Triumph Spitfire
Hi folks, it's my first post here. I'm afraid I don't own a whole Mercedes, but have recently bought a Väth 4.7 engine which I will be mating to an E46 M3 gearbox and fitting to (what was once) a Triumph Spitfire.
I'd like to know a bit more about this engine and this seemed like a good place to start. I have the original receipt from Väth which describes a replacement crank, performance cams, head work, pistons and mods to the ECU. The crank certainly looks special, but if anyone has any more info about this engine I'd be very interested to hear about it..
Also, does anyone know how easy it is to access the data on the standard ECU so that I have something to start with to set up a stand alone one?
Thanks all
