Value my merc 200e?

Hey guys looking for some advice as some of you here love your classic vechicle spec

Mercedes 200e 2.0 on a G reg
2 former keepers
My dad's owned it over 20 years
98,000 miles with mot to prove
Had a full respray about 1 year ago
Cream swede interior
Starts first time everytime

I think next year it will be tax exempt as 25 years old

Pretty sure it needs to be over 40 years old to be exempt from excise duty (road tax): https://www.gov.uk/government/uploa...r_rolling_exemption_for_classic_vehicles_.pdf

Only historic vehicles that were first registered before 1974 are tax exempt.

Hard to tell much from the photos really. Do not use them to sell the car!
Sort out the rear number plate and clean everywhere especially the drivers mat to present the car in it's best light.
The wheels also look like non genuine replicas which will count against you.

Good luck whether you sell it or keep it. Your sentimental value should outweigh any financial benefit I'd imagine and if it's still reliable as you say then why not keep it in the family.

My bad about the tax thing my insurer said it's 25 years clearly not lol yeah the car belongs to my dad it is his pride and joy but as he now has a 4*4 running both is not a option it's taken me over a year to convince him to sell it but it was his first major car and 20 years ago it was like a Bentley in his eyes, it won't be advertise with those pics when sale ad goes up I'll spend a weekend on her to bring her up to her former glory the wheels are reps I think, not to sure but everything is original apart from a tape player he fitted later on in life
