Valve cover gasket replace cost?

Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to have the valve cover gasket replaced on a Mercedes ML270 CDI year model 2004
Also cost of replacing the poly v belt on same car.
Mercedes independent garage or Mercedes Dealer cost or both.

What's wrong with it? They don't normally leak? Biggest risk of this job is whether or not the injectors are stuck. It could be a 2hr job or a 6 hour job. Occasionally if injectors are seized they have to be destroyed (dismantled) to be removed which would add the cost of new injectors.

Mercedes garage told me they noticed oil leak on the valve cover (following service) they had tightend bolts and needs further investigation etc, I haven't noticed any oil on the ground where I park though.

Would ask another garage for opinion, a lot of the time it's just minor sweating..

My M271 is lightly sweating as well, near the filler neck (but not from the filler neck itself). Has been like that since ever. I just wipe it clean from time to time. There is no noticeable oil level drop on the dipstick between servicing.

Said that, you should obviously check to see where the oil is coming from.
