Hi all,

Hopefully this is going to be easy to solve but at the moment I am completely baffled by it.

The passenger vanity light does not work on my 2005 W209 CLK500
I have two good bulbs (confirmed by fitting in drivers side) I have tested voltage at the bulb holder and can confirm that I have 12v switched by the mirror flap, ie 12v open, 0v closed.

The bulb never lights up!!!! :wallbash:

Please somebody point out whatever it is I am missing :thumb:

my guess it's not eathing out as it should. get a piece of wire an earth it out see if that works

Just had a look at my C270 and the power seems to flow to earth through the clip where the visor clips into and that has 2 connects I guess one to supply power and one return the earth. Or it could be the switch on the visor
