Can anyone tell me how to change the vanity mirror bulbs, without breaking the plastic.Am i correct in assuming that the mirror casing pops up if you put a small screwdriver underneath.Just that i have tried that and have stopped as i fear breaking the plastic.
Any suggestions?
Also my near side seat switch seems a little temperamental, and works intermittently.Have checked wiring at back and seems to be ok just that if i hold it down it seems to be fine, are there any known faults with these switches...could it be that the plugs are not sitting as tightly as they shouldand if so,how do i fix?

I'm not sure if they are the same as W140 one's, but on mine the centre part that houses the mirror does pop out; if you're careful with a flat bladed screwdriver and feeler gauges you should be ok.

On a side note, I thought my bulbs had gone too, I found out that the little plastic part on the relays had broken off, a new pair from Maplin's sorted it out no problem :thumb:

With regard to your seat switches, it could be corroded switch contacts; I'm not sure how to dismantle them, maybe someone else on here does ;)
