Variable intermittant wipers

Would be possible to retro-fit variable delay intermittant wipers to my W168? My old Fiesta had this back in the 80's..

You could but it would mean a separate control for the variable setting as no Mercedes has variable intermittent.

Rain sensing is the way to go.
