VED band?

Didn't know which section to put this in but...

My VED on my recently acquired CLK270 CDI is showing on my V5 as 249G/KM but I can not find reference to emissions this high anywhere else parkers is giving a figure of 183G/KM and the government website 188G/KM. Has anyone else got an emissions figure this high or could this be a mistake?

just checked a 270 cdi and shows 183g

If you have 17inch wheels the CO2 and duty is higher.

16inch wheels from the factory are in the lower tax band as the CO2 is lower. 183g

Yeah I noticed that it is 188 for the bigger wheels it seems to be having the 245 tyres at the back that makes the difference, just spoken to mercedes who confirmed that they have put the urban emissions figure on the official documentation and not the combined, seems this is so common that they have a specific page on the website for alteration requests. https://homologation.mercedes-benz.co.uk/mbpc/v5?pid=ownersarea_V5Ccorrection_nav
Have to send off proof of ownership and they will send me an official letter detailing the error for me to then send on to the DVLA seems like a lot of hassle for someone else's mistake!
