Vehicle sales; A view from the other side

Most the traders I know own their stock outright, so the interest rate makes little difference. Depending on the type of stock, 3-6 months isn't uncommon to hold onto something but some classics would be held in stock a lot longer than that.
 
At the moment classics are appreciating quite strongly or, at worst, holding their value. Classic car dealers will consequently be in no hurry to sell at a discounted price.
