Hi Guys.
I discovered that my cabin vent heater was always blowing hot (following an engine swop). (The garage claim that their work did not entail interfering with the heating system. Reliable trusted garage so I do trust them). That's great in winter but not in summer.
The upshot is that after removing the central dash to investigate, the bowden cable that runs from the hot/cold dial was no longer connected. Even worse it appears to be no longer there.!? I've stripped out as much as I dare but had to stop in fear of messing the whole thing up.
So my simple task is to trace back from the dial to ???? wherever it ends up to either find the missing cable or replace it.
I've looked for diagrams or other instructions but drawn a blank.
I need help.
I've had this vehicle off road for several months now and am using a V220 W638. ( big family requiring lots of seats). I intend to recommission my v230 so that me and my missus end up with a 7 seater each.
