Maybe, but putting your name and landline number in an advert is a strange way to start a scam...

Just called up the seller, it was taken in part exchange, service history is MB/Indi. Car is located in Romford Essex. Sounded pretty legit, scams usually only have an email address.

How much of a trade in will he give you for the C36 ?

There's been loads of C32s for under £10k over the last year, normally scams are for £20k cars at £6800 or something silly!

A 100k C32 estate in average condition probably only trades around that figure, so it's perfectly feasable that it's just an unwanted P/X to clear.

I'd be surprised if it was mint for the money, maybe one/two minor faults, scruffy alloys, perhaps a little TLC needed or even some paintwork - but wat great value for a fairly new, high performance AMG car

Asked whether it had had any paintwork etc - was told ' Its never been written offor anyfin' - so going with an open mind.

Whizzkid I know it is a bit late as you viewed last night but the drivers heated seat pad seems to be a regular problem on these . Cruise control working? See if the water cooler pump has been changed.

Hi Guys,

Due to an unexpected domestic situation on Friday and over the weekend, I couldn't actually get over there to have a look the car.

I probably won't be able to get over there until Friday at the earliest now, If its still available then.

Anyone else interested in it, please go ahead and view/buy in the meantime.

The advert has been pulled and this looks like the same car, although it now has a picture and the colour is now mettalic black!!??
