Very Clever - Auto Wndows

Driving along hood up but windows open a bit and got behind a bus giving off black smoke.

Selected recirc to keep out the fumes and by holding the button in the windows close.

Pressing again and holding, the windows open to where they were before.

Clever Merc.

My wifes (Cazzle) W169 A200 does the same thing. Also has a sniffer in the fresh air in that does it automatically if certain fumes register.

I love it when you find a new feature on your car.

Both Thermatic and Thermotronic air con units have this feature. I use it a lot in the hot weather (ok no a lot then!), I use the summer opening feature of the the remote unlocking (holding down the unlock button whilst point fob at the drivers door lock) this opens all the windows. After driving off and expelling the hot air from the car I simply hold the recirc button to close all the windows.

Damn clever these cars!
