A handsome fellow, indeed!

RHD, 100k miles.

240d, 4 cylinder, a long while in getting there, but will stay at 75/80 all day on the flat for about 500k miles.

What's it worth here?

£3,000?

Cheers,

Paul

Lovely looking car. How much is it for sale in Portugal?

No, though I would have done - and maybe might yet - if I hadn't bought a 300d with 75k on from SA here in Portugal a few years back.
It's the sweetest sound. Still my favourite.
That one looks valeted-up for a night on the town.
Cheers,
Paul

Looks totally gorgeous. Inside looks very fashionable, colour works well and with the round air vents etc you woudln't think it was a 40 year old design.

The glacially slow to accelerate 2.4 n/a diesel would be a little frustrating though, perhaps even dangerous in UK traffic. Is a bolt on stylie turbo out of the question on this era of diesel?

V complicated to put an mb turbo on the rhd 123, most say impossible due to steering box. They do just keep-up if you floor them! Either put up with that or bang a 300d or 200 petrol in it perhaps?

Lovely colour combination!

Looks very tidy with chrome bumper corners and rear light trim from a 280E.

So how's south Africa for mercs ? I know all the ford big boys love the south African market for rust free rhd cars ?

dangerous in Uk traffic,as i drive thru the uk in 200D 1982 it makes me laugh how peoples opinion of w123 diesels is so wrong
a 200d will sit at 70mph all day

I have found the w212 E250 more dangerous as you are sat on the hard shoulder alot :D
