The c36 uses a bored out 3.2 litre engine so it will look like any engine of this type.

Has it got one of those silly economiser air bleed valves installed?

Incorrect the car is 3.6lt - This is why it is called the C36 amg !!

The intake cross over pipe is not the correct C36 bit of kit

Yes but it's bored out from a straight six 3.2

i thought all c36's started off as c280's and were tuned by amg. This was before mercedes bought amg i'm sure.

You boys do not know your cars

The AMG 3.6 M104 was rated at 276 horsepower (206 kW) at 5,750 rpm and 284 foot-pounds force (385 N·m) of torque at 4,000 rpm using the HFM engine management system.

The boost in power was obtained by stroking the 2.8 litre M104

Dont see many with a wood trim interior makes it look rather US spec like !

its a very early one im sure the 3.6 pipe used to be on them as well tho, cheap car though if you own a bodyshop or can do a bit of rust work yourself

This is the correct cross over pipe (it has 3.6 on it)

spot on with the info maybe some others dont know it all :bannana:

Thing is, the way they're selling at the mo, for £2K you can get one that doesn't need the work done. As Alps says, wouldn't be a bad buy if you could do the work yourself.

Look at the dash buttons, they have virtually fallen through

Must have pushed them slightly hard one day and they have come of there clips easily pushed back into place or worse case scenario a new switchpack with undamaged clips.
