Viano 2004 problem

Hi all. I am thinking about buying a Viano to use as a camper/day van next year. One I am looking at has the following problem-
"the orange ABS and the traction wheel signs are on; the red brake roundel comes on once the vehicle moves and the tail lights come on once the engine is started".
Any ideas? I presume the brake systems are the same as on our cars. I don't have access to it so can't get it on a Star machine

Abs wheel sensor, not expensive to replace or could it be a low battery voltage if it has been standing a while?

As an aside ... a 2004 won't have galvanised body panels, so you'd need to check very carefully for rust.

Hello again. I opted for a later 2006 model in the end & it looks rust free. Funnily enough it also has the same problem as the original one I was considering in that the wheel light comes on intermittently. He had changed the brake switch but with a non Merc one so I will buy an original one.
