Hi All , seen several people mention this mod for the vito, but cannot find out exactly what it is and whats needed. I realise its a suspension part from the viano thats not standard fitment to the vito but would like to know what it is and whats involved in fitting it .

Any help appreciated

Nick

Not sure of its application but as the Viano has rear air suspension sure it is applicable to the Vito?

Had a look under the Viano. It would seem to be a torsion bar attached to the body and by a link to the lower suspension. Can't see any reason why you couldn't fit it to a Vito as long as the threaded holes are there to take the bolts etc. and as it is the same body they should be.

Thanks , I have seen a few people post that they have done this to their vans, but i am unsure as to what specific advantages it would offer if fitted.

Nick, I don't think it needs it if you get the spax on and fit 18" or 19" alloys it drives fine.

Spax fitted today, not had a chance to take her for a test run as working nights. Already got 17 inch alloys, but will see. I do like the 10 spoke MB design, but they can wait for a bit .

What is the stabilising bar meant to do then, stop a bit of the roll i am guessing
