It's grim oop North!
Car
500 SEC, E320 cdi estate, BMW Z3 2.8, Porsche 944 2.7
My 2000 CLK has developed a minor fault with the instruments, when switched on or off the rev counter needle vibrates (enough so you can hear it )for about 7 seconds. When switched on it does this at zero then it, the temp and fuel gauges all spring up and work normally until it's switched off. It seems exactly the same each time. Relay? If so what and where please? Any other thoughts?
It not a big fault at the moment but I can see the rev counter needle falling off if it continues. Thanks for any ideas!

Can someone put this in the electronics forum please, I thought I had but it seems not! Sorry...

Cluster fault.
Are they repairable or is a 2nd hand cluster the way to go? Car has nearly 200k on it so not worth a huge amount so I'll probably live with it if expensive to sort.
