Vibrating/shaking W202

my car has seems to vibrant when am driving and at a standstill and i have the car in drive.
but if i put the car in nuetral its ok.

what i mean by vibrate is that all the panels inside the car such as door panels, centre console, sterring wheel, headling and even the visors vibrate and it is quite anooying. having to turn up music to avoid it.

could it be engine mounts?


how do you check for engine mounts?

Its a engine missfire.

It could be coil packs, plug leads or spark plugs (most likely)

sounds like the mounts to me - do you get vibration through the steering wheel?

the sub is only 12", but it vibrates without it being on.

My plugs are about 9000miles overdue.......

Mine's just a very gentle vibration tho....

Talking about engine mounts, is there a mileage limit where I must replace them or do I wait for symptoms. My steering seems to shake at certain rpm, is this indicative?
