My C220 CDI started vibrating............a lot while idling after any journey. Having had a look it is def the engine and was wondering if at 61000 miles an injector or several could be faulty?

It might be an engine mount. With it turned off give the engine a good rocking and listen for a metalic sound. Normally the engine will just float on the mounts, but they dont last forever.

My Vito 112CDi (same engine) used to do a similiar thing, after a longish journey it would sound a bit rough at tickover. Might be something to do with the oil I reckon.

Almost certainly an injector. Dose thoroughly with injector cleaner before taking any further action.
