Vilest of smell

Does my Air con need re-gassing?
Only when I first turn it on for the first couple of minutes it pumps out a vile odour

Smells like baby sick if you know what I mean.

More likely cabin filters I'd say, they get bacteria in them.

Change of filters is best but a can of filter cleaner works for a while, Comma used to do one.

Sounds like the bacteria mentioned by DrFeelGood (Motley Crue reference?)

I'm pretty sure you can get an antibacterial cleaner for it. May be worth giving one of these a go for £12.

£8.99 for 2 cans delivered.
Also ATM Groupon/ATS Euromaster have a deal for aircon regas for £29 or regas and antibacterial clean for £33. My car is having the latter on Friday.

I think the replacement cabin filter is only about £20.

Thanks for the quick reply guys I'll pop in motor factors on way home and order some antibacterial filter cleaner.
And I'll see if they can get the cabin fitters as well.
